As a proud Texan, I find it incomprehensible how you, a member of my government, supported by my tax dollars could endorse anyone who condones torture. You realize that by endorsing Gonzales that you are condoning torture also. I hope you don't have any thoughts of being re-elected.
I quote you here " The political theater, delays and attempts to obstruct this outstanding nomination are now one step away from their rightful conclusion: an up-or-down vote on the Senate floor"
You say Gonzales is an outstanding nomination. I say you are endorsing torture.

The Senate Judiciary Committee endorsed Alberto Gonzales in a 10-to-8 party-line vote today. Gonzales now moves to the Senate floor for a vote early next week. Here's the list of Republicans who think torture is praiseworthy:
Orrin G. Hatch, Charles E. Grassley, Arlen Specter, Jon Kyl, Mike DeWine, Jeff Sessions, Lindsey Graham, Larry Craig, Saxby Chambliss, and John Cornyn.
You not only brought disgrace to yourself but also to Texas and for that you should be fired.
