About Troubled Texan

Troubled Texan came to be on January 28, 2003 while I listened to George Dubya's despicable State of the Union Address.

As I listened, I realized that nothing had changed for two years.
Al Quida was still gonna get us.
The terrorists were still gonna get us.
The Attorney General and the Homeland Security Department were still scaring the beejesus out of all of us with their fake terrorist warnings and nobody felt any safer.

Listen pardners, it takes only a second of sanity to realize when politicians are tryin to screw ya to achieve their own political goals.

Troubled Texan started over at DougsDiversion.com as a small section of that site.

As the 2004 elections came near I swore that if (Hell did freeze over) Dubya won the election, I 'd get Troubled Texan a home of its own. So here I am.

Witnessing these elections as i did, I realized that it don't matter what political party you belong to. There's crooked politicians in all our political parties. I figure if I can get one person to understand what these crooked politicians are doing to not only Americans but to the whole world I'd be a little less troubled.

As long as there's crooked politicians, there'll be a Troubled Texan.
